Alliance Against the Abuser
Summer Wei is a bodyguard specializing in protecting women from domestic violence. After a quick marriage to Simon Shen, a top lawyer, she hides her true profession. Upon joining the Shen family, Summer notices strange occurrences, including unexplained injuries on her mother-in-law, Linda Lin, and fear in Simon's daughter, Dodo. Summer soon discovers the Shen family's genetic predisposition for domestic violence, affecting Linda, Simon's ex-wife Lucy, and Dodo. To help them escape, Summer maintains her cover while gathering evidence against Simon. When Simon's cousin Sean arrives, he recognizes Summer but fears her too much to expose her identity. Summer eventually reveals Simon's corruption and abuse in court, with Linda supporting her claims. As Simon attempts to manipulate Dodo for revenge, Summer decides to stay married and give Simon a taste of his own medicine. When Simon seeks help from a top-ranked bodyguard to deal with Summer, he's shocked to find it's her. Linda and Summer team up to expose Simon's true nature, leading to both women divorcing the Shen men, taking most of the family's wealth, and living happily with Dodo.
